    09 R6 Gearing

    What would the suggested gearing be for a yellow plate slow guy riding a 09 R6 at Loudon be??
    1:20's-1:21's

    That was with the 06-07 models. The crank journals were undersized. Problem was fixed in 08. They were actually starved from oil at idle.

    So yeah...warm yours up.

    Always warm your engine up. Regardless of what you are on or what the temp is.

    I've broken a lot of things over the years but never an engine.

    Good, I've always taken the time to warm my bikes up even in the high temps. I was hearing this don't warm the R6's up thing a lot and just couldn't figure out why.
