Spare no expense?
I guess I just don't trust only water. Anything that alters the characteristics of the boiling point, especially raising it. And also makes the heat transfer to the fluid better is a plus in my book.
Yes I know the radiator is under pressure, but it will vent more when the fluid is of a lower boiling point.
At the start of the year, I did fill it up with water wetter. During my race licensing day, I burnt up my clutch and had to swap the fibers. So I was forced to dump the water wetter out. So, we filled it up water in a pinch. Didn't have a reason to open that up again. Bike kept cool all year.

And now your radiator is 2 pounds heavier from all the minerals you deposited in there
Lucky for me, I got a new radiator this year![]()

Trust me, I know it's not cheap. I just got my motor built.

We have a font.
That's too much work. Especially on a phone.

I buy a gallon of distilled water from Walmart for a buck, put about 16 cap fulls of water wetter in it. That usually gives me enough to flush out the winter coolant, fill the cooling system and have some left over for periodic top offs through our the season.
And then I still have 2/3 of a bottle of water wetter left over.

Bikes going to GMD this weekend, still need to place an order with Woodcraft, find a new exhaust can, fix or replace my tail bodywork, repaint everything, and figure out what I'm going to do about a suit for round 1. The fact that I'm even thinking about this 44 days in advance is an improvement over last year.
I just sent a care package to GMD, another will be on it's way after a visit to Cabela's. I need to order brake rotors for my new wheels along with some misc OEM bits. I also need to start designing a replacement airbox and schedule some dyno time to see how a bigger carb fares, finish building my front end, and re-assemble the bike.
That's just the motard. The FZR needs some minor bodywork love, I need to determine if I'm going to replace the dead damper or not, dial in the new rear sets and new tires on Thur of the opening round.
Kawasaki needs: new graphics, suspension set up for the Isle of Man, adding steering damper, dyno, test in Jersey and then adjust and test again at NHMS. Then it ships.
R6 needs: front end suspension, proper rear spring, check all fluids, a new set of balls for me to ride it
