Thanks man - I'm mounting some fresh Dunlop rains on my spare wheels just in case. I can't wait to try them in the wet.
Eh.. I don't mind getting wet... It makes for fun racing!

LRRS 2 16 Season Starts on April 3 th - YouTube
Just rain! Not sort of rain, almost rain, nope not rain, yes maybe rain.
Just realized the outlet my tender has been plugged into is controlled by the light switch. Potentially adding a new battery to the shopping list.
Apparently you forgot the Christmas Vacation light scene-

Those movies are awesome..."mornin Clark...shitter's full"
53 days to go
Got a lot of work done this weekend. Wiring is finally coming together, new dash is mocked up and almost done.
Just need new battery, clean the carbs, swap front calipers, do a once over, slap the body work on and shes basically ready to go.
52 days
You guys running rain gear? I was thinking about picking up an RS Taichi suit to go over my leathers and back up boots. My current boots are pretty well jacked up from low side crashes anyway.
I've got a rain jacket and over pants that I use. It's bulky, flaps in the wind and makes sliding around on the seat a pain, but it also keeps me mostly dry. I only pull it out if it's RAINING. There are some tighter fitting road race rain bibs and suits that may work better but I haven't invested as my current kit works well enough.

Where's petorius? He does this best.
I have a cheap-on-closeout 2-piece touring rain gear set that is 1 size too big that I would use in April or October. Rest of the season I'd just enjoy the liquid cooling. It's just water, amirite?!
Pinning the visor seems like a good idea. Yeah it sucks being behind and getting blasted with water then your visor fogs - some people use Plexus - I hear it sheds rain pretty well.
Ha, ya. I rocked a cheapo frogg toggs suit from Walmart once. I wouldn't do it again, see the wonderful photograph below from John Owens to understand why. Also, the pants disintegrated after the first session.
Perforated suits and gloves dry overnight, boots do not. I wish I had spare boots.
