Which is why you do it. Get your body and mind used to the GTs and sprints become that much easier.

GT races are really not a big deal. Don't syke yourself out about it. If my big, fat, ass can run them in 90 degree weather anyone should be able too.

I'm actually ready ahead of time?? Pretty much all done just need to get fresh rubber spooned on when we get to the track!
8 Days till the first race weekend
7 Days till the first Penguin School
6 Days till the first open test
We will see come round 1 what my extra race ends up being I kept the same 4 I was doing last season once I made am status (LWGP, ULSB, LWSS, and LWSB). There are two races I can add to the SV program.
And I got the trailer cleaned up yesterday, also started to finish packing some of the spare parts bins as well. Hoping to have the trailer mostly loaded on Saturday evening with running around for groceries on Sunday.
Don't forget to charge your transponders, everyone.
So it's Sunday...still have to drill and safety wire the new ride, put numbers on it and throw a few parts on it...and register for races.
Looks like I'm ahead of schedule.
5 Days till the first race weekend
4 Days till the first Penguin School
3 Days till the first open test
The bikes are ready, hopefully I will be.

What is the schedule like on a Sunday? I might drive out to watch and meet some of you guys
How much is entry to spectate? I suppose everything I'm asking is probably available on a website somewhere but this seems convenient lol
Last I recall: $25 for a weekend entry, $15 for the day. I think there is a cheap option that gets you bleacher only access, but why?
Yeah I'll want to be in the pits bothering as many people as possible learning everything I can lol.
I *thought* you could say you're with one of the riders and there's be no fee? Admittedly don't know if that strategy works

Always a gate fee, some of us racers get out of it by pre-registering for three or more races is all.
3 Days till the first race weekend
2 Days till the first Penguin School
1 Days till the first open test
This will be my last post in the countdown, as of tomorrow I will be at the track till Sunday.
DONT FORGET TO CHARGE THOSE TRANSPONDERS!!!!!!!!!!

She's ready to be sent.
On paper running Boxshop meant I could procrastinate for 2 whole weeks longer than you LRRS types. But then they threw out a non-comp track day for this weekend. I figure I need to seat time.. so.
All fluids set and she's wired. No rains and no numbers yet. But.. well.. whatever.
Fires up and sounds mean. Ran her around the neighborhood in the rain last night. A 'tard geared 13/47 on cold slicks in the rain is.. well, fucking awesome.
Now.. where the hell did I leave all my gear?!?
Well why not come join us at LRRS if your bike is all good to go. Slap some numbers on it and shell be all set
Did CT on Sunday with the TTD cats.
Bike didnt blow up. Exhaust is loud. Suspension feels good. Not too fat for my suit.
All in all it twas a win.
See everyone Saturday morning :teehee:
