That's for sure. Breathing some life back into the middleweight classes.

It will be hard to beat anyone who qualifies in the top 32 of that list!

Meh, it's there. It hasn't been Red Roof in quite a while though. I can't even remember what it is now. Quality Inn maybe?

    Fixed.

I mean, I'll be there and it'll DEFINITELY be a bigger crowd than usual, but I don't expect a massive attendance even with it being during Bike Week. I HOPE a lot of people show up, but I'm not holding my breath. I also hope the gate fees don't spike but I'm also not holding my breath on that one, either.

I'm a little bummed I won't be racing in The Classic itself. That was my plan before the big news came out about the giant purse but when that broke I was like "whelp, i'm out!" We'll see if I do other races that weekend. I did renew my license, so maybe I'll jump into a few classes. Should be a fun weekend no matter what.

If I wasn’t rusty af I’d 100% renew my license and go do some races that weekend and watch arguably the best non motogp race to take place on US soil in my life time.
We will definitely try to come up for the day with the family though. Have to support our local boys (and girls?) for something that big.

Historically it's been 25 bucks if you come up on Saturday (good for the whole weekend) or 15 bucks on Sunday.
Dunno if they'll keep that for the Classic weekend or not.

I was thinking the same thing. Got to come up with that purse money somewhere. Hopefully attendance get raped.

I can GUARANTEE you they're not expecting pit passes to cover the purse...

I'm just glad that Loudon is spelled correctly in the title of this thread.

I heard that somebody donated the $250k for just the one race on saturday. Maybe the other 3 races have a purse also?
I'm hoping for a large crowd. I mean MA gets like 10-20k+ attendance, you would think that the top level racers that are coming would also bring in the crowds esp during bike week. A bagger class would really do the trick. I would guess half of the people at njmp during MA this sept were there just for the baggers

The ORG. wants and I believe asked if the baggers would come race. And I heard that they are working on purse money for the other classes on Saturday. You would think the track would promote this event as they get the biggest pop if people show.

Baggers said no to loudon, but they are running a hooligans class if I recall correctly.

No supermoto that weekend, so I'll come to just hang. Let me know if someone needs pit help.
