    2 Piece Leather suits

If a suit had the following construction would you think it is a good suit?

Sports cut; better anatomical cut for improved comfort.

Outer shell of top quality (1.2 to 1.4mm thick) cowhide.

    Advanced Seam Construction

Rows of hidden stitching providing maximum seam strength.

Advanced knee and elbow pockets, secures armor into the outer shell.

Armorshield protectors in knees, shoulders, elbows and back.

Foam padding in key secondary impact areas.

Knee stretch panel allows better knee movement.

Safety wrap seat lined with second layer of leather.

Full motion arm system, a panel of stretch Spandex that extends from the cuff to the chest of the suit with no seams.

Full motion leg system, a 1pc stretch Spandex panel from the crotch to the calf.

Comfort collar system - 1 piece neoprene collar, with reshaped rear section.

All zippers are genuine YKK zippers.

Full circumference connecting zipper is genuine YKK zipper.

Hook n Loop adjustable belt on pant waistband.

Hook n Loop adjustable belt on jacket sides.

    Leather expansion panels.

Airtex lining is anti-bacterial and non allergenic.

    Knee sliders sold separately.

    2 Piece Leather suits

One pieces seem to be the style of choice for racing, I've heard stories of the "full circumference zippers" coming apart in a crash. I crashed in a two piece and the zipper held just fine but it was a low speed crash so it's not much to go on...

    Just food for thought.

    2 Piece Leather suits

    Doc,
I definately suggest a one piece suit. Almost all racers have one piece.
A two piece may hold up, but imagine if it ever did let go in a crash?? Ouch!!

    Also, take turn 12 tighter

    2 Piece Leather suits

i race in a two peice vanson. no complaints yet. one small lowside in the bowl and it did just fine. i kinda like the conveniance of a two peice. as long as it's not swealtering hot i can walk around with just the pants on between races comfortably. than again if i could afford a new one peice i'd be all over it.

I'm rocking the 2 piece vanson because I am cheap. But I may go with a one piece Joe Rocket model. I need like a 54 or 56 though.
