The BoMo day this past weekend (14/15) was the first to run, so there are a few vids in that BoMo threads.

The cone setup (temporary, i hope?) is somewhat similar to the old wall. I think consensus was to make the apex a bit later than before. A corner of the new pavement is right near the apex. Was a bit greasy in the morning but got better as the day went on.

No not this weekend I have to to tend to Mrs. Black Squirrel. I am racing only Southwick and Crow hill This year.

I may try the supercross at Winchester again but its hard to get enough practice to learn the track.

Did they pave in the apex and move the curbing back? This seems like a great idea. I thought the new turn 1 effed up that whole section. Easing the radius of 2 might restore some of the flow.

We don't yet know how the new t2 will run, at bomo we set up cones to mimic old turn 2. They paved the whole area inside the turn essentially. Curbing, grass, cornerworking station are all gone. I imagine they may lay a curb like the new t1, we will find out next round.

If anything, t2 apex could end up being moved inwards towards the barrier

curb is (was) gone completely. The config for the BoMo days pretty much replicated the old T2 with cones... not sure how LRRS pland to handle it.

They got rid of that wall and moved the apex back also. We couldnt hit it though because it was coned off. I dont know what its going to do for flow. I dont really remember the old turn 1 since I was running 33's back then and nothing seemed to flow...

Currently there is no curbing but my feeling is they will add some. T2 apex woukd be moved in and cornerspeeds would increase, 1a would not be held as long ... this is just a guess

Nice guess and I happen to agree with your analysis, although I don't agree with it being conducive to a more "flowing" ride through that turn.

i could see multiple quick lines thru it...tight and run wide..take 2 wide and get a good drive down low...thats just my assumption.....or it could be like going thru 10 tight(if no curb put in) ...duck ur head...haha

No. This just means that you have to learn a new crashing line for turn two.
