How was the Basic school ? Did you get alot from it .., or did you walk out of the class room overwhelmed and scratching your heads ??

Basic school is awesome... the class goes over the basics: what each turn number is, basic lines, safety, how to properly ride the track with signals and such, equipment, and other stuff I'm not listing. Pretty much everything sticks in your head, not overwhelming at all.

The guy who runs it, Steve is the most approachable guy with questions so he ends up with a whole bunch going over pretty much whatever you / the class wants. Throughout the day you alternate from classroom to track time with breaks in between where penguin guys are all over the place to field questions, look at pictures of you on the bike and comment on positioning, follow you around the track etc.

I'm pumped, my bike will be all fixed and tuned from the dyno. I expect to get used to a proper power curve on practice all day Friday.

Unless something has changed which is certainly possible the garage is for first timers. So on your second weekend you get booted since youre supposed to know everything by then I cant imagine it would fill up though. I think the most we had in it at one time was 2 or 3

And remember, tracks days and entrance fees are something we simply must work into the household budget?
