2014 Austin MotoGP discount ticket package at Costco (yes, Costco)

MotoGP fans in Austin, Texas, who are also Costco Wholesale members can score two pair of tickets plus parking for one car at this year's Red Bull MotoGP of the Americas for $139 if they act quickly.

The tickets are general admission and are good for both Saturday and Sunday of the event weekend, April 12-13. Friday practice tickets are not included in the Costco Wholesale deal. Additionally, tickets must be picked up at the Circuit of the Americas Grand Plaza Ticket Office between March 24 and April 9. Redemption is only available on those dates, Monday-Friday between the hours of 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
A single three-day general admission ticket (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) is currently shown on the Circuit of the Americas website for $98.27 with an additional $47.28 for car parking. Fans riding motorcycles to the track can park for $20 plus tax for all three days. Ticketmaster may include an additional $15 delivery fee.

I talked with a Costco rep just now and apparently the offer is only available in Austin area Costco warehouses. Too bad, it's a good deal.

The company I work for has an office in Austin - I'm going down to work Thursday and probably Friday. I can ask if anyone is a Costco member and willing to pick up some tickets if there's any interest in the deal. Anyone want to split a set of tickets? I can only use one pair.

2 of my very very close friends live in Austin, actually just got back from spending a week there.

I bought my last streetbike from one of those two friends. The other one just bought an 899 Panigale as a second bike. Time to look into some flights.

Im not a costco member

You could probably get a trial membership. They usually offer a month membership for free.
Just saying.
