RVF400, Produced from 1994 to 1996, only officially sold in Japan
Other bikes that could be legal if the date range were opened up:
Honda CBR400RR (1988 to at least 2001)
Honda CB400 'Super Four' (1992 to current. 2008 units got EFI in addition to third gen VTEC...)
Kawasaki ZXR400 (1989 to 1999)
Suzuki GSX-R400 (1984 to 1999)
As one of the people racing the class in question, I'm ok with opening it up to newer machines. There are rumblings about Kawasaki bringing a 400 four cylinder machine to market again kicking around... That said I'm curious where the 1992 date came from as well. In the US the FZR400 ceased sales after 1990, the RVF doesn't appear until 1994, I'm not sure what machine CCS was trying to block with that cutoff?
We've been doing that for the vintage stuff for a while. I think Peter Fonda led them down one year.

Thanks for all the feedback. While you cannot get everything done in one meeting, here are the things that look like they have a decent shot of getting through for next year.
Late registration: I don't think we'll be able to do it 10 minutes before a race, but it may get changed from closed in the early morning to perhaps an hour before a race. Big step in the right direction and they are working on it.
Tag Team Endurance: There was a good amount of support for it. They were talking about bringing the ASRA endurance guys as well, so we just need to be sure that we can make it all work. I think that there is a good shot.
Program for fans: It is possible. They have people who can do the basics, but they definitely need some content written by an LRRS insider. I hope this comes together - they are looking at it now.
T6 Speakers: Duly noted. I guess the grounds crew has wrecked the connection several times last season alone. They are working on it. By the way - if you want Bruce back, please write him a letter!!!
Stiffer Penalties for Deliberate, Egregious Cheating. Big stuff (like showing up with a 2mm superbike in a supersport class, running a 600 and calling it a de-stroked bike in the LW class, sticking a 750 motor in a 600). Expect fines in the $2500 range, loss of points and a suspension. Legal bikes make for better, cheaper racing for all.
Jump Starts: More realistic penalties. Instead of being docked a lap always, here are the levels of offense. Creep (early movement without leaving the box): 10 seconds. Jump (leave the box after all the lights are on but before they go out), 30 seconds. Leave way early (like in the wrong wave) - 1 lap.
Classes: Mirror CCS. This means have 3 F40 Classes (LW, MW and UNL F40). SV650's that are standard bore legal for ULSB. There was a concern on the tracks part about adding the liter bike F40 class because they were concerned about the entry level. The proposed concession, which was universally agreed as acceptable, was that if any race averages less than 5 entries over the course of the season only the champion gets entry credit bonuses (not 2nd and 3rd as they do now).
Fuel: It looks like VP will not likely be legal next season. C12 is the only thing anyone purchased, and the sales were way down in 2015, plus the testing from can to can was inconsistent making it hard to police. Here's the plus side if this comes together: (1) Sunoco makes an equivalent fuel to C12 that runs and jets virtually the same (2) That fuel will be substantially (15% or so) cheaper than C12 (3) The track pledged to make an effort to make it available at locations in most every New England state to allow local purchase if you need to test off season and (4) The track is also working on a contingency program for Sunoco. VP had one, but no one at LRRS has ever reported being paid.
Track Updates: No reconfiguration, but they are going to upgrade all the curbing to the new style that everyone likes, add $40,000 in new airfence, and are going to make an effort to smooth out the track from T10-T12.
Looking at the list, not every wish got granted - but if they do most of this I think it's a pretty good effort on their part. Thanks to everyone who offered feedback, and if you've got anything else you guys know where to find me.

Couple questions Eric, is the new track configuration dead or just not happening for next year?
Also, is there a way to get an insert (like on a sheet of paper) that highlights new rules or changes with the new rule book? I like following rules, but not a fan of having to read the whole rule book every year and trying to find them amongst the hundred other rules that have stayed the same for the last several years.
Call me lazy, I guess.

Well thank you for everything you, the lrrs and nhms staff gets done for us.
All those improvements sound great and I am looking forward to the 2016 season.
The fuel rule is kinda lame but it is what it is at this point.
If mirroring CCS, does this mean the LRRS specific classes go away as well, or just matching definitions for ULSB / F40?
On the fuel front, Sunoco Supreme?
