When does 2016 LRRS Schedule come out?

Anyone know when the 2016 schedule comes out? I am particularly curious about the first 2 weekends. Looking at the past few years, it seems like round 1 is usually the last weekend of April, round 2 is usually the third weekend in May. Does that sound about right?

My Dad skipped a fellow racers wedding because he was in for the championship. And he eventually won. Priorities

My buddy got married this summer. The bachelor part was set around the race schedule but I did miss the wedding. ended up 2nd for Thunderbike championship

So was our 10th anniversary party for that matter.

Can't you find someone to marry you at the track, you would save a fortune on booking a venue, there will already be a photographer there and plenty of food!!!

Bob Coy of the USCRA is a Justice of the Peace in NH. Do it right on Victory Lane and then have the reception in the garages. This is the only wedding I've been to in about 10-15 years. I've blown off my sister's, nephew's and niece's wedding and made my brother move his date when he wanted me to be best man. And don't get me going about funerals.

My mother died at the end of May in 2004. We polled the whole family and came up with a date in June when everyone could attend to have the funeral. We called the Catholic church and they said they were booked that day and suggested another date. We hung up and called the Episcopalian church and got the date we wanted. I missed Saturday of the warmup weekend before the Loudon Classic. Sarah Mullin filled in for me and I guess she didn't have a very positive experience. I got up there just before lunch during Sunday practice. Dick Jalbert couldn't hand off to me quick enough! Saturday was the only day I wasn't at the track for LRRS and USCRA in the 20 years I was an official.

I skipped a wedding during the August round for a couple of friends. not happy about it but i was chasing championships and they understand. My sister is getting married this weekend and intentionally pushed the date out past the end of the season. Other sister is getting married next year labor day weekend cuz thats usually a safe weekend when there isnt racing /fingerscrossed. I doubt ill be chasing a championship next year, first year as an EX, so if i gotta skip a weekend it wont be a big deal.

Labor Day weekend is good for me because USCRA is on Monday, but we have learned that LRRS entries are off when on that weekend so it's a safe bet you won't have a conflict.

For the past 5 years I have told all of my non-racing friends what the schedule was for the year. If they plan any events on a race weekend, they will get a very nice card :-p

Last June I skipped the bachelor party for a friend of 20+ years just to go to some track days never mind racing. actually it was just a travel day to get to the track days. the rest of the party tried changing it to the week before so I could go. nope that was the Classic.
