My goal is to get down and watch some races as much as possible. Not as exciting, but affordable and much safer.![]()

To race at least five weekends.... break back into the 19s and have fun..
Why can't it be both? Racing alone is a hell of a lot fun. But I also get a kick of figuring out how I can get better.

There are 2 different kinds of riders. Ones that ride by feel and ones that have reference points.

One of the most spectacular demonstrations I've ever seen of how both methods can work equally well was watching that video of Doug Henry dicing with one of the Wood brothers around Loudon on motards...one rider with perfect lines and talent, the other with massive balls, talent, and lines that would get you ejected from a track day (LOL)
Having raced Doug and chatted with him about it, I wouldn't call him a feel rider. He was just employing an entirely different set of technical skills to our playing field. It's more a perfect example of why you can never say that one technique is the best. Many riding schools (think CSS, YCRS) fall into the trap of thinking they have it all figured out and everyone else is wrong. YCRS is especially brazen in their claims.

Ducati 748, Buell XB12 #50What bike are you racing? Are you #720?
Ducati had a tried motor in it last year. So hopefully the new one has more grunt! The Buell is used for Arhma racing I don't think it will see NHMS this year..
