Depending on race though it sure can help. Of course in MX I would hole shot and then get passed as each lap went by.

Dannnng, Qually was crazy... Two crashes for Marc in Q1.
The Honda riders are saying the Michelin being used this weekend was developed four years ago and the Honda doesn't adapt to it at all. Shame, I was hoping to see Pol at the front again.

This time difference really messed up my fantasy league... I fell asleep shortly before FP3 last night and didn't make any changes to the team. Rats.

That is some old school 500cc crash right there. It seems like Michelin really missed on the tires here. I can't remember the last time I've seen so many odd crashes by so many different riders just in practice.

    Re: 2022 MotoGP Discussion (Spoilers)

Anyone else experience video weirdness in today's MotoGP races?

I watched the MotoAmerica Daytona 200 first and it was fine and a great race.

Then I tried to watch MotoGP and it was 'zoomed in' so you could only see a bit of the screen, low res, and generally sucky.

There's a Subscribe button prominently placed in the window. I renewed several weeks ago, and they have the account listed as Active with today as the renewal date, so they probably screwed up my renewal.

    Reply from Dorna Customer Service:
"Please be informed that, due to the large number of messages we re receiving in relation to the 2022 VideoPass renewal, our reply might take longer than expected."

Switched to MotoGP and the scaling is wrong with picture distorted. It's like I can only see the center 1/4 of the screen and the edges are all curved.
I tried it on 2 races, 2 computers and 2 external monitors and they were all the same, and I couldn't find any settings on the computers, browser, or monitors that fixed it.
Also, the Qatar races are fine - it's just the new videos.

I noticed my renewal started today (I paid for it weeks ago). Since there's a Subscribe button prominently placed in the window, they probably screwed up my renewal even though it shows as Active.

    Any ideas?
I had issues watching the replay this morning on my computer. Wasn't very clear and sounded funky. When I switched over to the firestick all the races were fine.

Also forgot to change our lineup before this one. But we only slipped 1 place down the order. Pete got F'd for sure! lol. Both of our silver riders crashed out.

KTM's are doing well so far this season. I know it's early, but it appears the Ducati's may have lost -some- of their straightaway dominance this year.

I also need to get better at actually setting my fantasy team! I guess keeping the weekend spoiler free is more important to me.

Any updates on Marquez? I'm hoping his vision is okay...and I'm also guessing they'll keep that type of info close to their chests.

    Re: 2022 MotoGP Discussion (Spoilers)

Don't judge things yet, the first 4 races are a bit unusual in terms of results. Once the tour heads back to europe, the established players seem to rise to the top.

I think KTM must be pinching themselves. but consider, race 1 brad rode out of his skin and miguel struggled, race 2 it was exactly opposite. Let's see both bikes do well before we call KTM to the front of the class.

    Re: 2022 MotoGP Discussion (Spoilers)

Oh, I didn't mean to imply they were front of class. Riding in the wet is a whole different animal, and Quattarraro (close enough) was going to reel in Olivara for sure if the race hadn't been 3/4 length.

But, considering they took a 2nd and a win for the first two races, things are looking bright. Even Binder was doing well after being in Moto3 last year.

The Honda's must really lack front end feel, because they weren't running anywhere close to what they did in Qatar in the dry.

For how wet it was, with standing water in all kinds of places, I'm honestly surprised we didn't have more crashes. Just one on the stream coming across the straight in the braking zone.

    Re: 2022 MotoGP Discussion (Spoilers)

Quartararo race in the wet was a big surprise as he struggled all last in the rain. Ktm's where fast last year but seem to have made a leap in performance. Yamaha and Ducati found a way to make the Michelins work, the Hondas not so much.
How many times is MM going to keep hitting the ground? He in concussion parodical does his Double vision issue come back? he has a few weeks let's hope he's ok to go for the next round!
time to adjust my fantasy team, that time schedule really was a bit much!

I'm nervous for Marc, short term and long term. That boy really shouldn't be getting concussions.

I think Honda brought a very competitive bike however the 4 year old tire carcass technology completely ruined their weekend.
