Maybe Michelin brought shitty tires to this round and they didn't want moto3 and moto2 races being longer then motogp?

Watched the first episode of MotoGP Unlimited last night. Not bad, gives a more human side to the gods that pilot those machines. Looking forward to seeing more episodes.

    Re: 2022 MotoGP Discussion (Spoilers)

Yeah, now that we've watched most of the episodes, Sylwia said it's given her more of an insight into what goes into it and a more human look at the riders which made her more excited and interested in following the season.

    So yeah...

    Re: 2022 MotoGP Discussion (Spoilers)

It lacks emotion vs the F1 show. The effects/titles shots are really lame to.

Hopefully they stick with it and it gets better. I just watched season 4 of drive for survive and comparing that to season 1 isn't fair. Drive to Survive really nails building a different narrative in each episode, yet each episode also follows the season.

I agree, I hope it can grow lie Drive to Survive has.

    Re: 2022 MotoGP Discussion (Spoilers)

I have yet to watch the Drive to Survive series but have seen headlines where the drivers in F1 make it out like the directors of Drive to Survive are not portraying things all that accurately and making some of the drivers out to be people that they are not recognized by their peers as. Dramatizing things to attract viewers etc. Any of this ring true to those of you that have watched it?

That's exactly what I DON'T want MotoGP Unlimited to turn into... I like my MotoGP without the WWE feel.

    Re: 2022 MotoGP Discussion (Spoilers)

Well, I don't follow F1 closely, so I don't really know how accurate it is. Fair point here though. THe motogp people already seem much more human than any of the F1 characters. I'm inclined to think that the F1 show is misrepresenting, but I also think it is much more elite in terms of money and sponsors. I do think some of the players are likely absolutely nuts over there.

Yes, it does do this. After I watch an episode, I go to my friends that follow F1 to give me the sanity check.
But I'm okay with this, cause my partner got hooked to the F1 show cause its a good show. The motoGP show is a snoozefest, by comparison. I'm fine if the MotoGP show turns into the F1 show if it helps builds the motoGP audience. I'll still watch it, just with a different lens.

I'm a big fan of JM but I'm happy to see AE get his first P1 with Aprilia.

Happy for Aprilia and AE. The level of competition is so close on any given Sunday anyone can win. Even if MM comes back I don't see anyone dominating. Especially since the Yamaha is dead in the water and the factory Ducati is treading it.

Could not be more happy for Aleix!!! So well deserved for him and Aprilia.

Had Pol kept it on two wheels my Honda prediction may have come true.

    oof.

Why'd you keep Morbidelli? He wasn't doin shit this weekend.
Wait... You know you can make TWO trades before Q1, right?

    EDIT: And HONDA? Yikes.

    I ran out of 'money'
I could've dropped Morbidelli for Vinales, on principle I won't bet on Maverick (or Cal).
And I could only afford to drop Honda for Aprilia. Again, a Maverick bet. I am an Aleix fan but I was thinking maybe 5th for him, 12th for Mack.
    Completely wrong, obviously

We traded Marc for Pol as well! Still, this was our best weekend, but it could have been much better we have aleix and Martin as silver, Pol and Pecco gold, and suzuki for team. We held position in the rankings, but closed the gap to the top ten a bit.

My budget is spent... hoping I can gain some ground in Cota before the European rounds. Franco is a gamble... strong in Europe but Yamaha can only produce one competitive bike ...

Check the values of your current riders, they increase/decrease based on performance. Once you're in a hole, it's tough to dig your way out
