So lap 1 (after restart) I was put into the wall by another rider trying to share the apex with me. I turned in quick, never even saw him ... the bike all of a sudden got stood up and I headed straight for the wall. I must have already had the throttle cracked because when I got uprighted i lurched forward ... saw the wall ... grad as much brakes as possible, endo'd the bike and went chest first into the tire wall.
From eyewitness account, the bike climbed halfway up the fence before it came down on the tires behind me.
I did not break one bone (thank you impact armor), just VERY VERY bruised up internally.
I was in 4th place feeling really good ... I felt like I could have had a run on the 1st place guy.
Thursday practice was great, saw 19s, 18s, and a 17.55 ... I had my game face on.
I appreciate that the guy that hit me came to find me making sure I was alright, and to find out later also helped me out of the tires. Accidents happen ... bikes can be fixed ...
I'll be back! (=
Thanks to EVERYONE who helped me out the past two days ... you all rock!

i'm just happy that I made it out like I did ...
i'm more disappointed in missing the weekend because I felt like I had something and could have gotten my first win this weekend.
Such is racing ... I got several weeks to heal and get the bike together (=

Sorry to hear about your off saxman sounds like you really going to bring it to 'em. That's racing though ... nothing ya can do.
Oh man, that was you? I was watching in turn 3. A couple of us were convinced you had broken ribs by the look of the impact. The bike actually made it about halfway up the fence, and a LOT higher than you. There were actually 3 bikes, one guy made it through the opening, one guy hit the wall next to you, and then you. Looked brutal man, glad you're ok
Get well fast, man.
Sorry to hear it. Hope its not too bad a recovery.
Having trouble breathing?
Spine ok?
anyway rest up, see you up at the track as soon as possible.

holy shit dude, glad to see you're ok. sounds like that was a nasty one.
maybe they should replace the turn 3 tires with giant bags of marshmellows?
You looked pretty rough yesterday morning Jamie, was good to see you walking around with a little more "speed" later on in the day. Hope everything turns out ok.

I was watching in turn 3 and saw the whole thing, that was a scary looking crash. Seeing that before my races kinda threw me off my game out there that day...there were so many red flags an people doing stupid shit all day.
Really glad you are o.k, I couldn't believe when I saw you that night you were walking around and not in the hospital.
Heal up bro.

I was flaggin in turn 10, watchin my corner. Hear some commotion and once my turn clears I see two tires stickin straight up and a helmet. It took 5 minutes for them to flip your bike. That's when I saw the DNF Racing decal. Big sinking feelin not knowing how you were, thanks for the thumbs up. Crashing sucks but you have the right mindset for it. Kudo's man.
Take the 5 weeks to hide the Turbo under that bodywork well......![]()

damn Jamie, sorry to hear that.....glad you are relatively ok and looking to get back out
Hey Jamie, I IMed ya last night but I'm sure you were already passed out & in bed. Sorry I missed ya on Saturday but I'm so glad you're alright. Your health was definitely on everybody's mind as it was one of the very first things I heard about when I got to the track. People were pretty rattled by it but super relieved that you were able to walk away from it.
Get plenty of rest & heal up bro. If there's anything I can do to help, gimme a shout.

I was right behind you. that was a scary crash. Glad you're ok.
It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?
Get well soon -- happy to hear it was not quite as bad as it looked. (From my perspective, it looked like you took a bike in the chest.)
Maybe that's what happened ... maybe the bike did hit me in the chest ... i know something did ... i just assumed it was the tires

I don't need to tell you, of all people, that it happened quickly. But I watched you getting pushed in, grabbing the brake, big endo, and then -- as I saw it -- flipping and ending with you back to the wall/Turn 10 and the bike in your chest. After that, you disappeared between the tires and . . . well, let's say I was surprised to see you on your feet.
good to hear you're ok. doesn't hesitate on the scan, don't mess around w/ internal injuries... lots of time to heal before july![]()

mounted the new subframe lastnight and rewired everything ... bike still runs (=
Just ordered a new set of bodywork so that I can work on it this upcoming weekend. Ideally I would like to mount it up on Saturday, sand and paint on Sunday.
Just need to purchase a new can for my exhaust system and I'll be good to go (=
