I need to do everything this weekend. Ugh
I've got a long week of coming home from work everyday and napping, while staring out the window at my fueled, connected, loaded and packed RV and trailer, aimed towards NHMS, just waiting to pull away at 4PM next Wednesday.
I bet you have an auto-pilot installed in that RV too, don't you???
I took the plow off my truck today, making progress! It's next week, right? Plenty of time...
Registered today... Am GTU, UNGP, MWGP... Is there any way to see grids/entries on that site?
Just need to change my oil and I'm ready to go. Looking forward to seeing everyone... Haven't raced since the Classic...
7 Days
Oil changed, coolant largely swapped for water, and all orange painted. Still need to paint black, spray clear, remount bodywork and damper, burp coolant, clean/load trailer...then once at NHMS, swap wheels/rotors and install bearings, tires, pinstripe/decal/numberplate the bike, and maybe yank my shock so PK can swap the spring. Easy peasy.
I'm guessing this has already been addressed somewhere, but I am failing with google. TrackIntel is not showing me the appropriate races available to enter. I'm using Chrome. The "Missing Class?" button does not seem to be doing anything either. E-mail sent to Brenda. Anything else I can do to fix it?
Is your bike setup "correctly"?
Brenda is your best bet.
Must be an amateur problem. I had zero issues. (That I know of.)
I can see all of the novice races and a bunch of Expert heavyweights. I also think I accidentally clicked on "Missing Classes" and then at least one expert lightweight race, not realizing that the AM ones are listed separately in the dropdown. Curious to see what kind of mess I made by doing that.
Yeah, for some reason I'm eligible for like 3 unlimited ex races as well.
If you don't get a reply from Brenda tomorrow, give her a call. That'll help make sure you hit the preregistration deadline.
Lol. Just register for the novice races :)
None of the eligible classes came up for the motard even though it was already in the system. Then I redid the questionnaire for the bike and a ton of classes became available.
Ha, ha ... I've got some red electrical tape for the "X" over the first "9." Really appreciate the offer. Last time I borrowed an R6 (garage mate's) damn thing tried to kill me ... hopefully yours doesn't have the same anger issues that Adam's R6 suffers from!
Just crazy, who would have thought superchargers were that difficult to install on R6's.... :naughty Will know more on Monday whether the completion estimate turns from a "might" to a "definite". Even been holding off preregistering. :frown:
picking up my suspension tonight.
so this weekend will be: exhaust swap, forks install, shock install, steering damper install, new clutch switch, tank install, align rear wheel, oil/filter change, safety wire, and bodywork.
if i'm feeling froggy, i may fit and drill the new bodywork too. but i'm not using it for LRRS round 1 (the crash fest).
I'm down to just bodywork at this point.
Went to Adrenaline yesterday and had Justin put the CBR on the dyno. I wanted to verify that my hack job exhaust didn't try and kill my bike. As it turns out, my tune is pretty crappy. Super lean off of idle, like AFR is up around 30, and another lean spot between 10k - 13k. Not so good.
She still made 101 horsepower and 42 ft lbs but the graph isn't very favorable. Right when I need the power to really start to hit its falling on its face.
Justin is going to sort my tune out today and I'll go pick it up for final bodywork fitting.
just a fewwwwwwwwwwww more things to do

there are a few things left to be done at this point:
Safety wire oil filter
Drain coolant and fill with water wetter/distilled water
Grab decals and put them onto the body work
Put back on the body work
Drill hole in belly pan for wet weather racing
:confused::wallbash:
*going to rewire some of the bolts over the weekend - realized they might not pass - ahh first try? haha.
those clips should not pass tech for LRRS.
CCS yes, but i believe clips are a :nono: for LRRS
