Ok 10 days !!!! this coming weekend is it for weakened days left to get your shit ready. Mine will be spent getting the scooter running and packing the essentials back into the trailer
Hmm. I left my trailer somewhere over by the spruce trees. Might need a skidder to get it free. My program seems to have some shortcomings here.

Well I'm running into all kinds of problems getting my CBR ready. I got new bodywork for this year and the belly pant doesn't fit because my subframe is a bit smushed, forcing the exhaust to hang below my oil pan. Belly pan won't go all the way up. Its actually just the crossover pipe before the last Y pipe.
I think I'm going to just take it to Lou's and have them cut it out and patch it, I'm not setup to weld stainless.
Decided to go ahead and change the throttle cables and clutch cable since they all look fairly shagged. I'd rather do it now than have one snap on a race weekend. Turns out the throttle cables are one hell of a job. Need to remove the throttle bodies to access it and the book has it as a 3 hour job...I'm about 4 hours in and haven't got the throttle bodies off yet
Should have started a month ago...panic indeed.
I went to MMI I know what Im doing here chief

Its not just a small cut and patch, more like the crossover is hanging almost 2" low. Did consider that though.
Ultimately this probably ends with me dropping $700 on a new Akra system for a 10 year old race bike.

Is anyone who needs numbers. I have a complete series of gothic style black numbers that exclude 5 0 8 and can bring to round 1. Fo freezle
Will take with all due gratitude. Thanks Sav! Will also pass on sloppy thirds to any rookies.*edit- eh, I guess they'll have to wait until they bump. I forgot about red numbers!

I pushed the bike out of the living room yesterday and drained to green stuff out. Turns out I didn't need to snow blow a path for it after all.

Decided I need to replace the fuel lines and balance the carbs.
Maybe today I'll pull the bike out. I sure hope it runs...
I really need to find some rains too

Ahhhh crap - must fill in with work on saturday for being short staffed - there goes one full day of prep.
I guess I will have to cram it all in before he Argentina GP. Also was able to safety wire both exhaust nuts on the two most outside exhaust ports. Wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be - safety wiring the two together - that's a different story. Haha.
