    ASRA

So, what's the deal with ASRA? I know it'll be a combined CCS/ASRA event for the classic, and ignoring for a moment the fact that my GS has no place outside of PTwins, would it be worth my while to try and enter an ASRA class that weekend?

    Re: ASRA

    Honestly, no.

ASRA classes are Expert/Pro only. It's for Top Expert racers who can compete on the National-level. Jeff Wood, Greenwood, Narbonne, Josh Hayes, Matt Lynn, Cory West, Jason DiSalvo, etc all have entered ASRA races in the past 12 months.

Well he might be an expert, but someone might wanna go tell Daviid before he goes & enters the ASRA Thunderbike race.

I wish, goal is for amateur plates by then, assuming my arm is 100% functional in time enough to pull it off. I now get the difference between ASRA and CCS, that's what had me confused, didn't get that it was for the top guys.

    Re: ASRA

you can obtain your ASRA license as a amatuer (which you are as far as ccs is concerned) You will be limited only to ASRA Thunderbike. you cannot run superstock, superbike, or supersport with a amatuer ASRA license.
