No more fax race this year. The initial grid will be based on last year's total points, each weekend after that will grid by this year's total points. Pre-reg or reg that weekend, you grid the same.

    Engine Ice definitely verbotten.

I can't seem to nail them down on approved additives, I tried getting them to go with the four WERA approved brands that has neither Glycol in them.
Definitely Water Wetter is allowed, I think Maxima Cool Aide is also allowed.
I'll email Micky and Perkins for an answer.

And still waiting on NHMS (not LRRS) to come up with the entry form that they're revising.

    I have no idea.
Drawing up a schedule that satisfies everyone is always a big can of worms. I don't envy Don.
One year Rider Rep Micky Curry took a stab at it and spent a considerable amout of time revising it to something he thought would work. Didn't happen, his schedule just upset a different group of people.

On a side note: In addition to opening up the class for the newer EX500's, the USCRA has come up with something that you can run XR100's in. I'll post a link to the USCRA rulebook as soon as Smolenski puts it up.

No matter what, someone is going to bitch. Best solution, make the schedule so MY races are when I want them.

It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?

There will constantly be people trying to exploit and change the rules to give themselves an equipment advantage, at least some of us know that that's not what racing is about.

Nah bro, I got the same setup and my boy wit da dyno told me it was 225 all day, didn't even have to throw it on there to see. Don't want to wear out the power commander doin pointless dyno runs, since we already know it's 225 easy. word.

You guys both have it wrong, a Buell Blast with an inverse megaphone pipe and Bazzaz ECU is the hot setup. 300hp, 500ft/lbs of torque, killer chassis, ZTL brake AND traction control to keep it all in check.

My rule-of-thumb is that if you don't change things, people bitch. If you do change things, people bitch.

Not changing things is a lot less work!

What about Mocool? It's the motul equivalent of water wetter. Same stuff, non-glycol, simple water additive.

what color is it? that's all they're looking at. i'm not saying put anything in the bike that will be a safety hazard, but if it's the same chemical composition...

It's easy enough to go get water wetter... it's cheap and lasts forever.

It made the distilled water that I added it to turn a very light pink. I went out with the intention of buying water wetter, but when I got to motomarket all they had was mocool. I was told it is essentially the same and it is listed as race approved on the bottle.

I'd rather not purge and refill the system again unnecessarily, I've got enough other work to do on the bike that I'm not sure I'll have time for...

so, yea... color is the same = tech is happy

chemicals are the same & safe for us (not that you'll be crashing or leaking) = we're happy

    don't see a need to flush = you're happy

putting a $0.09 label on a $5.99 bottle of water wetter and charging you $15.99 = motomarket is happy

    everything checks out

That doesn't mean squat. Evans Engine Ice is approved for CCS. They were (Maybe still are) even a series sponsor for CCS. We do not allow it.
Check the bottle. If you see the word "glycol" anywhere on it, get rid of it.
