ATTENTION IN THE HADDOCK! - 89th Annual Loudon Classic Schedule

The Classic seems like it is one busy weekend at Loudon. I am doing the 2 day Penguin School that week, would I still be able to get into any races that weekend? I am still trying to figure out all the ins and outs of this stuff before I dive in. I have an 01 SV650 stock front end stock motor if that makes a difference??

On another note, I see motard qualifying...does that mean there is a chance I may not qualify for the race, or is it just for gridding purposes? Qualifiers cost money?

Just for gridding purposes and to get a look at the track. It doesn't cost any extra.

not sure if you know but its not the regular motard race. they bang a left into the grass just before T6 and come out somewhere around 8. and they add some little jumps on the front straight. absolutely the BEST race last year. there were more of us spectating that race than probably most of the others combined.

Oh, I know. I've been looking forward to this since I bought the bike this winter. This year its going may be a bit different, talks were about going onto the grass after 4 and a downhill jump on dirt (crash city, can't wait!). Also mentioned was leaving the track to the right of 7 all the way to the access road, then back on at 9. Sounded like the chicane and jump on the front straight were staying and a 180 into T1 were also mentioned.

Looks like I need to practice backing it in...

I did LWSB last year as an AM on the tard. It was awesome. Ended up with 2nd

Is LWSB the suggested LW race on a motard? I'm pretty sure I'm eligible for LW Sportsman, but maybe there's something I'm missing...

You can race any fuckin class on the motard. Read the rules first line is Single cylinder unlimited displacement. But anything lightweight you will do ok in!

Im all registered for the event. 2 on Friday, 2 on Saturday, and 1 on Sunday.

I gotta talk to the boss today and see if I can have friday off too then I'll sign up. still haven't decided whether I should add that Unlimited race on saturday. 20 laps (or probably 18 for me) for the Classic is gonna be a long race though.
