At our staff meeting this morning, Joe said that even though the Penske schedule said that the departure time was 6PM they will not be out at that time. We can not have anyone on property until they are gone, so unfortunately, I think that may well be 8PM or after. I may have a better idea by Thursday.

We came across this same gig at Homestead a couple of years ago. In addition to the cars and such they set up a bunch of enclosed air conditioned tents, banners all over the place, lots of wiring.
They finally let us park the trucks at the far end of the paddock. We unloaded and then walked or rode everything over to the garage, taking care to stay away from their stuff lest they get upset and tell us to stop.
Makes the old "Range Rover Rodeo" down at Bridgehampton look like a bunch of low rent pikers!

Not so snobby as much as it is strictly public relations. Brother in law and a coworker enjoyed the festivities. Three laps around the oval in a prepped Iroq and a drift experience in a 2010 mustang. Good food, good advertising, etc... Sounded like fun. I'm sure there's quite a bit of money tied up in the event. Friday AM early for me.
