I know I wont have a problem finding someone to jump on for a stint or two, I was just wondering if there was a minimum number of riders. Three was what I planned on.

Really not feeling good about sending my money to that organization. Can I just make a donation to the Karen Hornbecker fund or something?

I just realized that the "Control" theme doesn't apply to Ken, since he's Tony's lead instructor and not a control rider. Oh well.

We'll be on one of Steve Heider's EX500s. I was trying to see if I could managed to round up enough cash to grab that Hawk that was for sale in CT a while back, but it never happened. This should be fun(ny).

Cool. I've done an endurance race on an EX. We had to go only so fast or the head gasket would leak... So we rode by engine temp. I was last, so I uncorked it on the last lap and crossed the finish line with coolant spraying all up in my face. Endurance racing is FUN!

The big picture is that this is the only vintage event in North America that is sanctioned by the F.I.M. We even have their Rep. and his wife show up and hang out with us at Start/Finish.
As the AMA is the US branch of the FIM, their membership is required.

If you need fresh rubber, I've got still in the plastic Bridgestone slicks and rains in SV sizing in my basement. I'll be popping down to NHMS for the next LRRS race to drop some forks off to Mr Kates and can bring tires with me.

No slicks for vintage, DOT's. Not sure about rains, probably stick with a good set of DOT's.
