1 hour and 20 min we were only 15 seconds behind. man you guys were so lucky the first red flag came out to get rains on. At the 2:20 (shutdown) we were only 4 laps behind. it was a fun time.

+1,000,000 wet lines suck. talk about tire movement!

I may have rewritten the rules a Little as i was only pitting within the rules. i can't help it if the bike goes to 16K rpm.
You guys were going great! The Moriwaki is definitely slower than a 125, so the playing field was a lot more level. We tried to stay on slicks, but when rivers start running, there is no sense in trying to continue on them. Simply not safe.

    still racing

if we were closer to Johnnie i would not have passed by.

I had to laugh when i came in the second time. Johnnie came out with the flag and horn then he saw it was me then practically backed up to hide behind the concrete wall. I was like what, i was much slower this time. LOL

yea the 10 river was forming up nicely and the race DOT were not liking that section. had to alter lines.

Technically you did the stop within the rules. You went flying around Doug Donelan to get to the stop line first, then stayed in first gear. A couple of minutes later Frank Smith, the Referee, came over to me and asked what the LRRS rulebook said about endurance races. I said most of their rules came from the USCRA. I also pointed out that the LRRS guys going too fast for their tastes on pit lane was an issue last year, but it obviously wasn't addressed coming into this year's race.

I was the one who came up with the pit lane speed rules as a way to try to keep the speeds down without spending money on equipment. Trying to mandate pitting "at a reasonable speed" is open to each individual's interpretation.
