Attention In The Haddock! - Slight Schedule Tweak

    Good Morning Everyone,

I was at the track last night and thought that I would give some heads up with regards to registration. The track has postponed registration by one hour Friday evening to alot for the people that will be attending Alex's wake. Friday reg. will be from 7-8:30 p.m. Saturday morning registration will be the same (7-8:30 a.m.), however, racing will be postponed by one hour and start at 1 pm (instead of noon) to accomodate those that would like to attend his service (which is at 10 a.m. on Saturday morning). Hope this helps.

I know a few of the corner workers are going to try to make it down to the funeral in the am. Im sure the family will appreciate anyone that can make it.

Are all racers considered family...??? even if you only saw him race and get his trophys?

I'd go but I wouldn't want to overwhelm the family if all the racers went.... or would that be a nice gesture?

The way I look at it is, the track had to be like a second home to these kids and to Bruce, it was a huge part of their lives and an even larger part of Alexs' as such a young age.

Im sure there will be family, friends, local community people, school mates, and I cant imagine a large racer crowd showing their respects for a kid that worked hard and died doing something he loved could ever be looked at as a problem.
