There will be some HAWKs battling out there. Hopefully I can put together a situation free race in LWGP. Last time I bent my shifter towards the footpeg coming out of 12. Kind of hard to downshift.

I did not hit the lottery this week so I will not be there either.

I did get some 17" wheels for the CRF but noi health in surance, no job, and the like will prevent me from racing this season I think. But next yes!!!!

Nazo check the brake fluid on the RV it may need a top off.

Clayton let me know when you need me to pick up all the beer no one drinks.

i'm almost finished here at my day job, then I head to applebees to wait tables until 11pm ... sleep, then leave for the track in the am.

i'm feeling anxious (sp?) about this weekend though ...

I remember getting really nervous before race weekends. Unfortunately it's a self imposed problem and it doesn't help you any. I still get nervous at times, and I have to remind myself to just enjoy the whole experience.

Treat it like a big practice/trackday. Relax and enjoy the riding. Let the laptimes/results come to you.

Hell, It's safer than a street ride and you don't get nervous about that.

My garage neighbor does some Brew on Premises stuff. He has one he calls speedball that has esspresso beans steeped in the brew. It's pretty good actually.

I used to brew a Java Brown at one of my pubs. It had the same amount of caffeine as two cups of coffee in a pint. It gave me a weird buzz so I could only drink two before switching to something else.

Sorry to throw the beer thread back on track, but I'm loaded up to GO RACING!

I've been unofficially retired, but with the good weather and an open day on Saturday, I thought I'd take the MZ out and do some laps in anger. I'm not looking for awesome results, just to get a dose of race fever... then back into semi-retirement.

Got 1/4 of the way there and lost all the lights in the trailer again. I'm home now, completely rewired the trailer, leaving tomorrow early AM. Anyone know what time practice starts? Isn't it 8 or so?

Yup, practice starts at 8, so first novice yellow practice (or blue, depending on what they put us in, probably blue since that's <:27) will probaby be around 8:30-9
