No more auto bump AM - EX

No more auto bump AM - EX

So based on what i have read seems like there is no more auto bump from AM to EX.

You get bumped to AM from NV once you hit a time but that's it.

It doesn't matter if you win a championship or turn 13s. You have to ask to get bumped to EX.

I haven't asked any officials about this but that's how it seems to be for the last two years. Even AM champions don't get auto bumped.

That's how I read it in the rulebook. Nothing about wining an amateur championship as being a path to bumping.

    i can't see this happening.

the (MW, HW, and Unl) AM grids were so big towards the end of the season, that they had to split the EX and AM races.

otherwise, it'll look like a track day with no one in novice or expert waves.

Guess you just need enough of your friends giving more shit to cherry-pickers who don't bump. I'm pretty sure I need to bump, just not up....

" LRRS and its officials reserve the right to
advance a rider at any time they feel the rider
is ready to go to the next level. LRRS will
notify the rider of their advancement within
7 days after the event. This is referred to as an
    Administrative Rider Advancement. "

My bet is that the advancement after winning a class isn't automatic...but is probably a "sure thing."

    What are you talking about?
We have 3 level. NV - AM - EX. All i said is there is not auto bump to EX any more. You have to request it.
From NV to AM it's an auto bump.

He said that he couldn't see people not being auto bumped if they don't request it because of the huge size of the AM grids. And the EX grids were fairly light.

The rulebook, as noted by Kurtz has provisions allowing for administrative bumps without requesting one. Graham has already said there will be a bunch of AMs getting told to buy new number plates based on their times/perf.

I guess I'm lost in the details. I thought he meant a letter as in paper, pen, envelope and a good ol' American stamp.

That's also funny because it's exactly the opposite with LW grids. Double the EX comparing to AM.

    Just a winter discussion bro
How much does it cost to run a MW, HW, UN program in EX? How about a LW program in EX?

There is the reason for those numbers...

I don't think it makes any difference as the competition gets closer to the top. A MW is more expensive to
    Run regardless of level.
