Bad timing

So, in light of certain posts on this forum recently this is a very badly timed request:

Anyone got an R6 I can have as a gift?

Ok, more seriously, I'm looking for a cheap to free middleweight machine with paperwork to race in Jamaica, possibly other rounds in the Caribbean as well. Supersport/stockish. I don't so much care about pure competitiveness 'cause, let's face it, it'll be ME on a 600 riding around with my eyes trying to overflow out of my helmet, death grip on the bars and my heart either stopped or spasming hard enough to be heard on shortwave sets in Europe.

Also, carbs don't scare me.

Costs do. I have no budget. That normally means break out the diamond crusted titanium one offs but I mean it the opposite way, I have zero monies. I'm looking for something I can make A) runable, B) safe and C) enough of a paper trail to get stuffed in a shipping container going out of and back into this country so I can play in a one off. This is pure pipe dream territory to make this happen, so I fully anticipate it's not going to.

I have a 600RR in full working order (and clean CT title) that just needs to be made pretty again that you're more than welcome borrow/buy.

I'm looking to get into a LW machine, so the caveat is, you make it pretty enough for me to sell when you return it (just needs body work repair/repaint). Or you buy it from me at a fair price (not even sure what that is) so I can throw that money towards something else.

Of course I understand if you're not interested at all. The 600RR isnt the most competitive platform.

As of right now cripple triples aren't accounted for by the rules proposal, liquid cooled triples are only allowed 0ccs of displacement.

It never sold, and Josh is a tinkerer, I figured he would get it right. And it's way cheap.

Last real hangup at the moment on that is steering stops with the new clamp set. Once that's sorted it's all bolt up save for modding my old plastic to fit the newer kit.

Those details are being sorted by Patrice at the moment. Part of it depends on how many of us commit, etc. The plan is to pack a container full of bikes, more bikes, lower cost.

I think shipping is ballparking at $1200 currently last I recall. Airfare is around $350, but we may get a break on that and/or shipping...

Nov - Guyana

The actual specific dates haven't been set for 2016 yet. My hope is to run Jamaica as that's the round it sounds like most of the LRRS crew can commit to at the moment.
