hopefully it will be a turnaround season for ducati with more money and engineering backing from Audi and a killer teamate
I'm shocked Speis would would bet his MotoGP future on a great big pile o....er.....bike with questionable performance (so far). In Ducati's defense, you KNOW they will be (and have been) working day and night to solve the problems and get back in the fight ASAP, so hopefully Spies can be competitive on it in '13

personally I would have gone with a satellite honda over the ducati any day but maybe he's hinging his bets on promises from the higher ups
You guys were off the mark with Bautista. He's a great rider. His podium last weekend was impressive. I don't think Crutchlow had anything for him, even if he didn't run out of fuel. Doh!
I actually think Barbera is a rider worth a prototype ride. Another career torpedoed by the Duc.
These two guys were ANIMALS in the 250 class. Given the right chances, they will be at/near the front.
Bautista was done in by the Zuke. he was showing some real progress the last season on it but the bike just wasn't there and he kept going beyond its capabilities and ending up on the ground. This past weekend he finally showed what I've been waiting for him to do on the Honda all year. I think he might be running consistent top 5 next year.
I think Barbera would have only done slightly better on a Honda or Yamaha.
