    New bike for next year

Got my new track bike today for next year. Thanks to Ryan at Hobbs for the awesome deal. I will be running a 2005 GSXR 600. I took some pics today after loading her up. She's a little rough right now but nothing a long winter of work cant fix.

Nice! Looks like you are missing a handgrip though. Did they drop the asking price based on that?

shit, most of the teardown work has been done for ya. That's really what you want for a project race bike anyways. Great find.

Was dead when I got it but seems like it might hold a charge.

I spent a little time yesterday afternoon removing plastics, headlight, and other good stuff that I dont need that I can sell on ebay for some $$$ for the parts I do need. I think it will be a fun project to get done. Maybe if I hustle with the work I can have it done by the end of this year although most likely probably wont be able to ride it on the track till next year.

If you have it ready by December, you can make it down to Homestead with the rest of us LRRS guys that go down for the last hurrah of the year and give that bitch a proper break-in

Im working on it trying to get all my stuff together. I already got my rear sets on their way, just have to source a few more parts, get the suspension done, and I might just might make it.

That's not bad at all. If the frame and forks are straight it should take you two weeks tops. And one bulging credit card ;-) Good luck!

Yea im trying to do it without bulging the credit card. That is why my timeframe is for next year. I already got the rear sets, clip ons, and I have a penske triple adjust I should be getting within the next week.
