    Stock exhaust:

The thing sounds great and is so freakin' light (full titanium system)!!

I'm not 100% pleased with the location of the powercommander, but we couldn't figure out what else to do with it. It'll have to do for now.

For some reason my gauge cluster is now dead, no information read out at all. We put a multimeter to the wires and everything checked out good ... so who knows. I guess I'll have to try to find a used one cheap.

    Nice Jamie !

How much weight did that shave? I have an Akra but just the slip on.
the carbon fibre one is nice in that its always cool enough to touch,
literally. Keeps my ass from frying !

Nice...I had a full Ti system for my 7R that I sold... the whole thing (headers, pipes, and can) only weighed 7lb total. When I first got the box I thought it was empty.

I am right there with you on how unbelievable the weight savings is when going stock to custom.

You might want to consider at least wrapping the PC in a plastic baggy. At least it will protect it a little bit from debrie.

nice... never thought about the carnage factor of having undertail exhaust... expensive exhausts should stay nice with light lowsides...

post a pic of the powercommander, i have mounted them in some creative places.

edit: nevermind, i see it now... you can definately put it under the tail, and above the subframe tray...

we tried like hell to get it under the tail, but there was no where to put it that it would be safe

according to the powercommander site it is a completely sealed unit and does not need any protection from the elements

I've seen a lot of people use the stock tool holder compartment for the power commander and put it on the inside of the right fairing.

If you're in a Jam talk to Nazo abouut the gauge cluster. I gave him my spare when he was having trouble figuring out his battery was dead. He broke the plastic that goes on top of it but aside from that it will work fine.

It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?

The only thing you have to watch out for in the
front fairing is that you dont toast to a crisp.
you could make a plactic box for it and use to heat reflective tape
    around it.

i think i'll leave it where it is ... its out of the way in case of a crash and the rear fender (which I just reinstalled) should protect it from any large debris

we'll see ... when I have some more time I might try some other places

It felt like the stock header alone weighed as much as the entire new exhaust. In fact, I've lifted PVC pipe of similar lengths that weighed far more. If it saves 9 lbs, I'd bet the stocker weighs 18.

    oh,
and fire comes out of it.
