    Bike transport

So uh... i've got a race bike, but I haven't exactly figured out how i'm getting it to & from the track through the season.

Anyone able to help me out w/ this little predicament? I'll chip in for my fair share of gas money & of course a little extra for your time (and storage if that makes things more convenient)

How much are you offering? I don't know how many bikes I have in my truck yet. Guessing mine and nazo's and picking up Jeff's with the trailer in NH.

just get(rent/buy) a little trailer. its just an EX, the trailer doesnt have to be all enclosed. just to get the job done

    Pete,

Harbor freight has one right up your alley.

    Harbor Freight trailer

It tows very well and quite compact for storage.

I have storage for a bike but not for a trailer... Not to mention my car is also in pretty rough shape as well as WAY out of inspection. I don't even know if it would pass.

Jay, I don't have much to offer... I'd offer exactly what i'd ask for if our positions were reversed, which is an equal share of the gas expenses and some booze for the weekend.... perhaps the purchase of a community case of corona (or equivilant)... and limes... god help you if you forget the limes.

it's an '87 bmw 325... it's got enough juice to pull it w/o a doubt, but it's not exactly in the best condition right now.

If i were to fix it up & use it i'd have to put a good amount of money into it.

know what... fukit... I'm gonna look into exactly how much it'd cost, maybe I can get it ready by the second race weekend.

Rather than dump $$$ into a old BMW.. to tow... I'd look at getting a $1500 - 2,000 pickup truck.

Tons of old Toyota's and shit that would do nicely for hauling a single bike.

any 2wd 4 banger will be good for what you need....almost all of them are good running and reliable...even the ford and chevy's...

Pete! Did you see the hunk of shit I used to get my bike to the track days last year(and hopefully this year as well)? Cheapo subie wagon($1000), rent a uhaul motorbike trailer($15-$20 a day) and you'll be all set.

I used to haveone of those catalog ordered bike trailers - cost about $400 ready to go, and folds in half when you're done with it. One of those would do the trick.

Alternatively, find a cheap minivan. Then, you can put your bike in the back on the weekend, and live in it all week!

When Jeff and Naz figure out their plan I'll know if I have room. I could easily pull a trailer but jeff keeps his in NH. Getting three bikes there to pick it up would be trickay.

He would then be exposed for the fat, useless, piece of shit leech that he really is. I think everyone is slowly starting to figure that out though.

Don't listen to the fat, fuck'n douche bag Pete. We'll get your bike to the track.
