T11 is probably the one that will require the most attention as far as downshifting goes. Not sure on an SV but I grab two gears down going up to the wall in T1 and already have my gear in place for T6.

You may want to consider putting more weight on your outside foot for these turns, which will do a few things for you but also allow you to move your left a bit easier for shifting

...and like others have said, feed the clutch slowly or rev-match. I don't have a slipper so I have to use a bit of both.

    What part?

I go fast, then I slow down, I shift as I'm slowing down, I say "SHIT SHIT SHIT" to be like Ryan cuz he's fast so it must be right as I'm slowing down, then I turn as I'm slowing down, then I stop slowing down and begin speeding up.

I do now. (But yet, I have still tried. Thankfully, unsuccessfully.)

Cunts, the whole lot of ya.

Are you on the brake while blipping the throttle and feeding the clutch or are you clutch in and no the brake grabbing 2 shifts then out of the clutch.

    Re: Braking technique advice

Lemme put it in code for ya...

[brakes] [pull in clutch/blip/gear change/slip clutch] [steering input] [/steering input] [/slip clutch] (if you haven't already) [/brakes]

That's assuming you already have your body positioning set before you start braking.

Could you do it as object oriented C instead, I parse that better than fake html?

There's no singular way. What works for some might not work for others.

Fug the blipping while on the brakes, in the ripple bumps, with the rear tire wagging. That's only going to slow you down. Shift at the right time and you eliminate a lot of unnecessary thought and input.

This has turned into a great thread.

My rear gets very loose on my downshifts in 11. I can't wait to get back out there and work on things.

I have a slipper clutch, but do not believe I actually use it. Clutch control and timing is a learned art.

I have a slipper clutch because I couldn't figure out clutch control and timing. We won't even talk about all the other things I'm still trying to figure out....

Lol! But not in a good way. You'll be so panicked about blipping with all that stuff happening that you'll have to brake earlier, and likely scrub more speed than necessary to enter the corner. It gets pretty hactic even without the blipping.
