    Re: Bridgestone contingency?

I havent gotten mine yet either. They dont come from ASRA, but they dont come directly from bridgestone either. If you want to check the status you can do this:

    http://www.ccsracing.us/forms/2009/c...tus%20form.pdf

Its takes a day or so to get a response from someone but if there was a problem along the line, you can take care or it.

I just talked to Miles, they will come from Performance Tires. What you recieved was most likely from a purse race that you did. The cert will be white with a green design.

    Re: Bridgestone contingency?

I got a 1st on the second weekend. Got the $100 right before the "Classic". Acually had 2 of them. So for some spare change got new slickies. Bridgestones are the way to go for Novice $$$. Yummy me want more.

    Re: Bridgestone contingency?

So, what exactly needs to be done to qualify for contingency? Seems like every time I ask someone, I only get part of the answer, so I'm not sure if I got all the right paperwork done in case I ever do win a race.

Next time you come looking for a tire remind me that you get contingency money.

Put decals on your bike. When going through tech tell Sandy and make out the form. Watch for mailman. Simple as that. Oh and ya gotta know a bigwig in the industry. So cmon over and wash my trailer.

Tell Sandy you want free money, she'll sticker your bike up like a thing that gets excessively sticker-ed and make you fill out a sponsor form. Then, race, place, get paid.

    Re: Bridgestone contingency?

LRRS has dragged some serious ass this year for submitting contingancy forms... from what i gather a lot of people have yet to see money.

I did however just get a check for $350 from ASRA for my Diablo Pirelli challenge win =)

In addition to filling out the paper work with Sandy, do I also need to list them as sponsors when I register online? What about registering with the manufacturer? I was told I need to do that online, but I can't find where to do that on the site that's linked to the bridgestone logo on the lrrs contingency page.

    Re: Bridgestone contingency?

When you go see them in registration to get your transponder tell them to add it to your list of sponsors. Usually you do that when you renew your license. Remember that you need 5 other racers and then BS pays 100 to the winner. 8 others and the winner gets 100 and 2nd gets something but I forgot how much. I think that with 11 racers they then pay back to 3rd.

i always get fucked on contingency.
powerstands never paid out anything to me when i was an AM, or anyone else for that matter.
then last years Classic i got 5th? in a race and bridgestone never paid me. i made sure i did everthing right for that one. filled out all the paperwork, got the inspection and turned everthing in like i was supposed to and i got nothing.
i checked with the crazy contingency lady (sandy?) 2-3 times and she always promised to look into it but nothing ever came. i gave up. she either lost it or never turned it in.

Sandy is a useless twat. make sure you TRIPLE check her work and make sure your stuff gets turned in.

    Re: Bridgestone contingency?

Andy, I just got my contingency from the 5/30 weekend from Bridgestone (Performance Tire). Let us know how you make out with the request. If you dont hear back keep calling ccs, and show them you understand the contingency process with LRRS and someone may have made a mistake.

Try 817-246-1127 and see if you can get a number from them. I got a hold of someone last year and I think that was the number I used. Got it from the CCS website.
