For those who don't know I'm talking about Spydah, aka LRRS #831 Novice. He's okay thankfully, docs got the CAT scan back and there's no swelling or bleeding on his brain. He's got a pretty nice concussion though and can't remember anything before Sunday morning. Did anyone see what happend? We were curious and Spydah can't remember.

If your brother crashed in race 1 turn 1A, then it happened right in front of me. Two riders went down in the same turn in that race. Both were able to get up and walk off the track.

I can't say what caused the crashes, but I think the first rider crashed low side into the grassy area, then the second rider crashed a second later further up in 1A.

This would have been turn 3. Second red flag.

I was pretty close behind him going into 3, but all I can remember seeing is his rolling after impact. Not to put him on the spot, but Mr. Kurtz (Mike Kurtz) might know more, as he was in front of me and was right behind your brother. I hope that he recovers fast and is out there for the classic!

I was working T 1 and heard that a rider went down. An immediate request went out to stop the race and for the ambulance. min later I saw his bike being carried over to the RV. I was hopring to see him later in the day. Give him my best. He put me up for the night. We also talked shop the night before. see if he remembers that. I'm going to no with probably not. heal up brother.

it was a busy week end picking up bikes, hope he is ok. I worked t3 Sat and if I thought my elbows were getting better picking up all of the bikes changed that.

My girl, my dad and my best friend were all watching from 3. From what I hear (I was in the race and came around right after the crash) he came in right on the edge of the track and hit the 2nd to the last cone on the right, promptly losing the front and sliding all the way into the tire wall. She thought he may have already started to lose the front and hit it with his rear tire? Regardless she's pretty sure he hit it, and tucked the front into 3.

One thing that was a touch different is he ended up pretty close to the pit road side of the tires in 3, rather than out by the split or the beach like most people do. Sorry I can't be of any more help.

There was someone in the T3 bleachers taking pics of Ryan in that race, the lady thinks he may have gotten pics of it if that'd help at all.

I'm really glad to hear Roger is alright, please give him my best. He did take a pretty hard series of tumbles and I was worried.

I was right behind him when he crashes, and from where I was it looked like he was straight up and down braking hard, and the front just washed out. It didn't even look like he had begun to turn, although maybe he was just starting to push on the bar. I didn't see him hit a cone, but my perspective may not have allowed that.

My girl said she saw the workers come out and put the cone back, it's possible another bike hit it trying to avoid him and she missed it in the dust? She agrees he lost it prettymuch before he started to turn, hence where he ended up. Regardless, I'm really glad he is OK.

LOL! Well at least you're still looking on the bright side of things. I can't count how many times last night you asked if you'd won. As soon as your noggin is better we'll get your bike squared away.

I'd be curioius (and probably partly mortified) to see if anyone got pictures of the crash. Maybe it'd offer us a little more insight on what happend. Crazy stuff....

I was in 10 when you crashed and watched it happen.

It was similar to the report from the bleachers. You came in under braking, maybe too hard on the front brakes and on/off the edge of the track. Front washed out, you took out the last two braking cones hit the ground pretty hard and rolled / slid over to the first tire barrier. I believe the bike did a little bit of a flip in the incident. Your visor came off so I imagine you had a hit to the right side of the head to pop that off (it had a little bit of a scuff on the right side of the visor when I threw it out)

I was second to arrive after we got the flag out on the 10 side and you were laying there trying to get up and I helped convince you to stay down for a little longer until the ambulance arrived. Bike rolled but I didnt get a chance to check it out as I was helping with you and then clean up.

Glad things worked out for you so far hospital wise. GL with the healing and GL with the bike man.

I'm glad to see you posting Roger, your crash shook me up, just from watching it. If you need any help with the bike, I'll be glad to offer up any assistance I can give.

BTW, you were flying out there before the red flag, you and Ryan(178) took off, it was all I could do to watch.

There is a very small chance I may have your crash on video. I had my camera on at the first start of the race, but by the time I came in at the end the battery died, and I haven't checked the memory card. If I do have some, I'll PM you.
