CCS Rule Updates for 2008
There shouldn't be any classes. It should be unlimited everything, just grouped into races of like timed racers. Then no matter what, the fastest guys with the biggest wallets will have their race and I get to have fun. That's all I care about.
Fun to me:
Having as good a chance to win as anyone else in my class
Racing against racers with similar skills
Good, clean, competitive racing
It's no fun getting buzzed in your race. No fun for you or the guy buzzing you. With all this talk about classes and being competitive, I keep remembering how my closest races, even when it's been a 2nd place, have been my best. If racing stops being fun then I'll stop. Until then I'll enjoy my PTwins and be thankful I don't have to decide between racing and other financial commitments.

You don't race Ptwin... you ride around NHMS looking at all the nice scenery, have a snack on the front straight every lap and pray the bike holds together for the whole weekend. :poke:

True Dat! I really need to improve my starts! Not to mention You were FLYING. The new HP this season is going to drop your times like a tube top at a G & R concert!
Ya Chris your right, the GTL's are to short! And if it was a GTL you'd be that much farther ahead. :beerbang:

Hell if it was not for gino the bike would have never moved a foot. The owner before me Ran it on pump Gas (needs C12) and generally just neglected the bike and wired all this stupid shit on it (who the hell needs a shift light?)
Dont Worry The motor is going to HORD and getting completely rebuilt or I will find another Monster Race Motor

maybe I shouldn't ask, but why does it need C12? we've got 5 700cc hawks at loudon and to my knowledge this is the only one running on C12.
...might be something to ask Hord after he fixes it up.

It has head work and a thinner headgasket and is higher then normal compression (When it HAD compession, of course)

Thats's what I had. I believe my head was decked for highter compression. I noticed one of the sparkplugs was tapping the piston. Shorter ones will be called for. I ran the 93.
Dan, I guessing by the way you oil, sparkplugs, valves ,chamber all looked you did not have the compression close enough to be operating on the 12.

Nope I was running Ms93 at the time, Never did get the C12 in the tank. I think the motor died from previous damage to the cylinder walls or piston rings, I think the cylinder (s) are filled with oil Hydrolocking it
