You guys just drain the water out of your race bike for the winter or do you add anti-freeze, too?

I and anti freeze then run the engine to circulate it. Could be over kill but what the hell. In addition to the anti corrosion it lubes the water pump seal.

I actually fill it with antifreeze for all its non corrosive properties. You gotta drain & flush it first thing in spring though. Why roll dice with corrosion?
Thanks for the reminder... probably take care of that today.

and I just buy the cheap stuff that says safe for aluminum and can mix with any color. not point wasting the money at the dealer since its just gonna be drained in the spring and never really used.

Anti freeze every winter. Drain it in the spring and use it again next winter if it's clean which it should be.

I do ya. Havent had any issues yet. Bike basically sits all winter so i figure why not. Usually just check it after draining, keep it in a clean jug. I don't think it goes bad, lol.

I'm too lazy to go to the store. That would interfere with my nap, sucks getting old...lol.
