I know that but where in the rule book does it say that the last race will be double points. They like to make things as they go some times.

Some people are saying Double witn NO drop. While others are saying double WITH a drop.

Double with a drop. They announced it that way at the banquet. And its safe to say, with the double points the last weekend..... ALL championships will be decided at the last round.

I won every GTU race this year and before the drop I only have a 32 point lead. 32 POINTS! and its still not enough to lock it up.


I am not a fan of the double points thing at the end of the year. Seems kinda foolish but it is the way they are doing it this year.

I'm not a huge fan of it either, even though its helping me greatly in my non-existant amateur achievement quest. Seems to me it becomes a safety issue, with so many people still in the championship hunt its going to be a total win it or bin it weekend. I'm debating dropping all my races except for PTwins cause of that fact

I dont think you will see many amatuers going for a unreconized Championship with a "Win it or Bin it Attitude". At the end of the day this is sportsman racing and we are racing for shitty plastic trophies. Go out and enjoy your races...and do your best. After all its the last one of the year.

Well I am, course I dont have much else to look forward to in my life haha.
Im just more concerned with the experts that lap me very quickly (Rick and Todd are doing 13 seconds a lap faster than me). Just seems that where normal plastic trophys are involved they might leave more room on a pass than when a championship is on the line. Of course, I could be wrong, I damn near pooped myself my first amateur race cause I was so scared of the experts lapping me, only to find out, I dont see them pass me until they're about 3 turns ahead of me
