What the....?
A month ago you said "no" to MW's. Enter the New Year and you're singing a different tune?
Get whatever makes you happy. Until then, I'll just sit back and watch the show I guess.
Bergs,
Yeah, I'm really torn. I have a feeling MW is not the best idea, and I know I'm going to get my ass handed to me on one. That said, I've always wanted to race one, and there's no time like the present, right?
Who the hell knows, I'll probably grab the first thing that really catches my eye when I get back from vaca in Feb., like I did with the EX when I decided I wanted a first bike.
Ass handed to you how? It's everything you presently know in the EX....just alot quicker.
I think you'll be just fine on one so long as you can support the added cost of operation and parts replacement should anything break.
The fact that this is now your 2nd thread of similar topic should lend you your answer.......
I have cast my vote.
You won't be happy till you have a 600.
The Dark Side, Dan. Come get some!
I need in on this... Ryan, tell me you still have that F2?!
I vote for the Sv.
I also wanted a 600 for the longest time but you just can't beat the smile these things put on your face. Look at the Tansey bros, oreo, todd and rick. They prove that in the right hands you can bitch slap anyone in the face.
Pretty straightforward to maintain- easy on tires- fun to tinker with-learn and relearn corner speed. This bike will make you a better rider.
No offense to the 600 guys sometimes it looks like a mob scene out there. Best advice I ever got was to buy an Sv...... Or you could just keep the Ex and dump some more money in that.

<sigh> As if novice "Meat Grinder" races weren't bad enough, enter Dangerous Dan.

I didn't see a "quit racing" option on the poll...

This thread is full of LOL.
Boston --> San Diego
Buy the SV have a great season and never look back. I went from a Motard to a CRF and and I am having fun adjusting to the change. Very fun and forgiving machine. You can't go wrong with and SV.
