95 mo fo'in days
now that you put it that way.........................SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!!!!!!!
I am ready to go all I need to do is have some nuts on the subframe welded back on. They just spin and you can't get the bold out.
Change oil, lube chain, gas her up, ride.
I don't know about racing I still have no job and haven't had a single interview or call back in 2 months and about 30 resumes going out. Good news is I just got word that if I need it after my 26 weeks are up I can apply for another 20 weeks. I don't want to but it's nice to know if I need it it's there and I won't have to live at the salvation army.

Ya never know. I went to 187 when I lost 182 cuz someone else took it a few years back. I'd get it in today if ya can.

91 days... exactly what I need for a start to a proper race bike is on the WERA forum for $400 in NY and I can't have it...
I hate you all.

I could beat Jorge Lorenzo in the rookie race...
I can do 23's in the rain w/slicks, no tire warmers...
I'm gonna cry, then quit riding motorcycles all together if I don't win!
Seriously though... I left out that keeping myself and bike in one piece is my ultimate goal. But I would like to get out of the Novice class asap also. Winning the rookie race is a decent goal for a beginner I think, but after posting on this forum a couple of times and seeing the responses, I'm wondering if that goal will be considered pure arrogance, and totally unrealistic, because, let's face it... people who are new to roadracing can't even make it around the track.

Remember also that you could be up against people who have been doing track days for years (there was one a few years ago who was doing 18s in the rookie race) or someone who used to race but took a few years off and now has to start over (increasingly likely if the economy turns around and people have money again). And the reality is, the rookie race shouldn't be looked at as a race at all; the point is to get through 3 laps without screwing up procedure or crashing so you get your license.
