I need to get the Dunlops mounted and get the bike set up for them. change the coolant out and change the oil cause I forget if I did it before putting it away. that's pretty much it.

awwww....you're welcome, dude.
speaking of which, I made the order before they closed but I have a feeling they didn't ship them beforehand (or they shipped them the slowest way possible).
I'll check in with them wednesday when they re-open and tell them to giddy the fuck up.
8 people participated, we saved 400 bucks in total. some people saved 40ish, some people saved 65ish each.
I saved $65 = race entry

And the forecast for this week at Loudon:
...WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM LATE THURSDAY NIGHT THROUGH
FRIDAY EVENING...
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GRAY HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM
WATCH...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM LATE THURSDAY NIGHT THROUGH
FRIDAY EVENING.
* TIMING: SNOW WILL OVERSPREAD THE AREA LATE THURSDAY NIGHT AND
FRIDAY.
* ACCUMULATIONS: GREATER THAN 6 INCHES OF SNOW ARE POSSIBLE.
* IMPACTS: ROADS WILL BECOME SNOW COVERED AND SLIPPERY ALONG WITH
POOR VISIBILITIES AT TIMES AS THE DAY PROGRESSES. THE HEAVY WET
NATURE OF THE SNOW MAY AID IN DOWNING SOME TREE LIMBS WHICH
COULD RESULT IN SCATTERED POWER OUTAGES.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A WINTER STORM WATCH MEANS THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR SIGNIFICANT
SNOW...SLEET...OR ICE ACCUMULATIONS THAT MAY IMPACT TRAVEL.
CONTINUE TO MONITOR THE LATEST FORECASTS.
Ironic that Friday is April first. Hey, I didn't say the "r" word...

15 days and 15 inches of snow in the forecast![]()
i mean two weeks is plenty to melt snow, but that postulates it's warm enough for those two weeks so that's it's not a wet soggy mess when we get there.
rubbish...it's gonna be what it's gonna be
14 Days and I am concerned, I mean snow.......WTF!Mother Nature
what da fuck...we have to pay for practice now? same as a race entry?
Definitely not......I'm sure that is a glitch.
I'm a little concerned about the snow we're getting today and the track conditions by 4/15. At least they'll have bicycles and 4 car events on track before we get there.
I'm also glad I'm not pitching a tent in the infield. If it's anything like my yard, what doesn't still have snow is mud.

Ima beat all your asses. I'm bringing a snowmobile.
I'm considering ditching on the entire 1st weekend in light of this. Snow is one thing but my concern is I've seeing morning temps at my house (30 min from NHMS) consistently in the mid to upper 30's which means track temps won't come it until late in the day...at least 3 to 4 pm.
Considering this, any mist or percipitation isn't going to be very forgiving in the early AM.

The Sun has a lot of heat... if it comes out, will warm up quick.
