Although I did get talked to about running black numbers in novice..
is it supposed to be red on white?
Novice=Red on White
Amatuer=Black on Yallow
Expert= Black on White
And they are supposed to be a certain height and space apart, etc etc. Check the rulebook for current regs before doing your numbers.
This isn't to make your life difficult or your bike ugly, but rather to make it easy to see numbers in the event of a crash, questionable movement on the race surface, etc. Used to help timing and scoring too, but with the advent of the transponder, now it is mostly just for confirmation. If you ever go to a race weekend and listen to the corner marshal channel, you will occasionally hear "find and follow" during practice (to check for smoke usually), or "who has eyes on ___" if timing is "missing" someone.

Got my license yesterday. There is no way its the official one. Everything is spelled correctly. Im waiting for the official one to come to see who I am and what town I may live in this year.
I have to do the whole license thing again so I will be in the rookie race the first weekend. Lets see if I can get past the 2nd race weekend un-shattered this year!
To Do's:
*Get bike on Dyno and tuned (2009 Honda 600RR, Who is "The Man" tuning these bikes w/ a full Bazzaz system?)
*Paint bike
*New Sneakers
*Freshen up the suspension
* New Helmet removal system
*Transponder
I think that is all....

the 90hp cheater motor is scheduled to rocket into the frame at some point.

the new bikes plastics will be out for colors tonight, have a few small parts on order and have to figure out the suspension. leave it and ride it for a baseline or go see Peter and skip ahead a few. but after a few twists I already love it.
