Honda still is yet to supply the USA with a 06-08 Right side center case so my bike is still in pieces at S.R.E waiting to get all dolled up and running strong. Called Honda direct and they are expected at the end of this month with only 86 coming to the states and 40 something that are spoken for one of them being mine. My suspension went out this week to #37 (thanks by the way). And team meeting upon the horizon for a team color meeting. Sent in my race license on the 14th whoops

Just got an Ohlins TTX shock for it and will be getting a Bazazz. My woodcraft order will also be going in soon and the suspension will be set up.

Motor's been out since October. Basically, I'm wishing for work, to make some $, to throwat the thing. Right now I'm just surviving.

Still need to:

- See if I CAN just renew or will be retaking Penguin and riding as a novice again...
- Get leathers in to Vanson for repair/cleaning
- Find someone willing to clean/touch up my ye-olde AGVSport leathers... hah!
- Find a budget so I can afford all of the above plus racing

The purple plastics are going to be resprayed black & yellow, but I intend on keeping the purple tank, since Rich did such a nice job with it last spring.

The goal this winter was to shed some weight (both me [hopefully] and the bike), so replaced the lead-acid battery with a Shorai LiFePO4 battery. Cut the stock subframe and removed a shitload of unnecessary copper wiring. I also removed both switch pods on the handlebars. (yeah, I know, I have a whole thread about this crap) I also finally did the 520 conversion, since I was running a 525 setup for the past couple of years. I'm figuring when all is said and done, I will have shed 12-14 pounds from the bike. If I can get myself down 10 pounds, that'll be 3HP I gain just in weight loss of me and the bike.

Still to do is to get my shock over to GMD for a refresh and have PK install a MUCH shorter reservoir hose on it. The one I currently have is 13" long and will be too long for where I intend to mount it this season. (under the battery box)

I have about 10 more pounds I want to lose, then buy a helmet, borrow a bike, and get to the Penguin school (again). Then maybe the Big Fish Little Pond endurance race. At least that's where my goals sit for the 2012 season right now. All subject to change, we'll see how finances shake out as the summer gets closer.

Whats the deal on re-taking penguin? I haven't seen a green flag since 08... I've been able to maintain a solid pace the couple times a year I get up to the track, prob not what I was at before though.

Pretty sure if its been since 08 you will have to re-take penguin and then petition to be moved to at least amateur after a weekend or two.

Low 15's then... probably 17-18s now? I haven't run at race pace since then but I've jammed with people that can just fooling around and kept up no prob.

I have no clue how I'd do... I've been on the track at least a few times a year since though.

haha yea I was MW... we've talked at the track before, I'm up pretty much every weekend. You'd recognize me if you saw me I'm sure. I'll be HW this year if I end up running though.

if they stick to what they did last year you'll get kicked out of Novice after 1 weekend.

Bike has only plastics off. Needs a battery and left rearsets. In desperate need for tires but it looks like I'll be choosing Contis. No major upgrades since its rookie year for me.
Extra stuff: new helmet and trying to see if I'll buy the ambulance that's up here for sale or just use my boy's ford ranger to commute..

It won't work KB lol. I have tried to offer him cases many times.
