    A couple of contingency questions...

So i'm new to the whole contingency thing and i'm trying to get some information so I can calculate my expected payouts. I can't seem to find any information for EBC Brakes... Does anyone know what classes they pay, payment amounts, and min. # of starters?

Also, I see a lot of companies pay Supersport/Superbike classes, but how about the grand prix's or the GT races? Do these qualify under supersport or superbike, or does no one pay for those races?

I'm sure I have some other questions, but can't think of them right now.

Any information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

They pay in certs that I can redeem with any supplier that carries EBC brakes, so that's very helpful for me, but I just don't know what classes they pay and how much they pay. Emailed CCS today so maybe i'll here back soon.

My advice - slow down. That way you won't have to be bothered with all that pesky paperwork.

As of yesterday I still haven't received anything from round one.

Expecting tire certs and checks for three races round 1 and two races round 2.

He could slow down, or snap his bike in half... both would avoid the paperwork...

Re: A couple of contingency questions...

Just an FYI for anyone asking about contingency:
    http://www.ccsracing.us/sponsors.html

Here is the 2013 requirements and payout amounts for CCS:
    http://www.ccsracing.us/forms/2013/c...y%20awards.pdf

For me, I'm an amateur and run 160 rear tires, so I run dunlop (only 160 tire offering paying, and let's face it they make the best rubber) and as long as the field is big enough I'll probably get something... Also Vortex, Silkolene, Yoyodyne, EBC Brakes. I get support from woodcraft and armour bodies but no contingecy, and honestly they make the best stuff out there anyway so I wouldn't trade the contingency money from another company for not running their parts. I think last weekend I qualify for 30$ in payout, which isn't huge, but it's motivation to stop sucking and bump my times down.

Haha, if I didn't have tire contingency i'd be stuck running sketchy take-offs all season, and who knows what you're getting with those.

Yeah i'm expecting $$ from 1 and 2 as well... would be nice to get all of it before the classic so I could afford some new rubber!

Thanks man, that is exactly what I am looking for. I had an older sheet and it didn't have all that info on there.

They don't have a 160, at least in their threaded tire, that I saw

    BT003RS is available in a 140*, 150 and 160 rear.

*140 may be discontinued this year?

    From the Vanson sight.

    LRRS:
All classes, All Races, $200 for the winner and an additional $100 if wearing a Vanson suit.

    Is this true?

Yeah I see that... .never heard anything about that. Don't even have to be wearing a vanson suit to collect? Not a lot of info on the site, does anyone know anything about this?

Re: A couple of contingency questions...

I saw that too... I listed vanson on my listing with LRRS and threw the stickers on my bike. I already wear the suit. I haven't won a race... but if I do I'm guessing you'll have to contact them and bug them several times to get it hahaha
