Heading there thurs 3/14 for the 2 nights of flat track and friday/saturday road racing. Haven't been to a road race since BMP in '85. Looking forward to it for sure - man the grid sizes are going down quite a bit each year.

I have to buy tix for both nights of flat track, the Friday road races, and Saturdays 200. I don't see anything on line about Thursday RR practice. Is that a free day for spectators? Meeting some friends who go for sx through the 200 but they don't typically get to the track thurs until the late afternoon.

I'm flying down on the 12th, staying until the following Tuesday. I'm debating whether to accept a friend from high school's offer of a loaner Harley for the week. I'll probably pass because it's been a while since I have ridden and I don't want to deal with the possibility of dropping it. I'll be picking up a crew pass for the roadracing and hopefully Steve Baron will win some free tickets to the flat track and pass them on to me.
All the surrounding motels have been razed so The Sea Dunes Apartments has almost the whole block on the beach to itself. Second floor, the four windows to the right is my apartment. Another developer bought the land around us after we litigated the previous guy into bankruptcy.

The last I remember, (2010) they let you into the infield for free on Thursday and Friday. If you wanted to go into the garage area they charged admission. (I think it was $15 Thursday and $25 Friday) On Saturday they stop you at the tunnel and charge ($45 in 2010) admission, plus $10 for a parking sticker for your car.

I was there last year for the 200 only bought the one ticket at the gate and went everywhere no extra charge for the infield. Hope it's the same this year. I saw alot of people parking at the mall across the street and walking over. That's what I did as well.

If you see someone in a black Razee track day sweatshirt or t shirt that could be me, hoping its a t shirt, but I hear its going to be chilly at night for the flat track.
