we pretty much do GT and SS on Saturday and the rest Sunday. just like LRRS
Starting to look at the estimated costs of this and it's not pretty
Flight ~500
Lodging probably 300
Entries 415
Transport for stuff probably 400
Tires and gas 500
Garage probably 50 if shared
Meals and incidentals probably 250
Lookin at over twenty five hundo plus two days off work (only have like 3 built up so far in new gig)
Also this is assuming practice thursday and friday is free...?

Yeah. We can get the marriott right at the speedway/airport for 160 with two queen beds. four people, four nights, 160 per person. Pretty cheap. That's not the major cost though.
I think even if you pinch pennies, you're still looking at two grand plus if you fly and have someone bring your shit, do practice and four races. Which is the only way I could go. 2k vs 3k isn't the issue... we've all got credit cards lol. It's going vs going next year.

There will always be a good/logical reason not race a motorcycle. Family, money, travel, work, hell - it's just dumb in principle (pay money to burn up tires/fuel/crash and go around in circles) - but nothing replaces that feeling of success when it's all loaded up and you're driving home Sunday evening with the radio off...the sound of bikes still screaming in your head.
