I still don't get the lap 2 time. I've ben on the track one whole lap.

almost makes me think 1 is the warmup, 2 is first lap including sitting on the grid? They were 5 lap sprints so that would make sense

I was watching 24 Hours @ Daytona this morning and they were on the slightly longer track because of the international horseshoe and they were running 1:42- 1:48's and averaging 122mph and 200 MPH coming into the SF line. I think the fastest Jeff ran was 1:49. You’re not that far of guys.



It is amazing how you pick up consistency on a 3.51. mile track.
