Absolutely an amazing ride for JS, although not in the way he probably imagined. That was definately the most impressive display of determination and fortitude that I have seen in a long time.

+1 and the crowd showed their appreciation at the end of it too.

Ok that race was badass. Last year the 250s had some of the best racing. With Reed and Stewart back the 450s have had the best racing by far.

JS is by far the most exciting rider to watch As crazy as this sounds, I think if he toned it down a notch, he'd be kicking some serious ass and making less mistakes.
Great action in the heat races as well

That was just amazing riding by JS! I cringed every time they showed him jumping "the wall" he was barely making it!

Just watched Daytona off my DVR. DAMN what a race. Stewart's comeback from that crash was quite impressive. Stay tuned, I foresee some kick-ass riding from JS in the upcoming weeks.

For those of you who didn't watch it...

YouTube - James Stewart crash Daytona 2011

He was clearly out of it when he got back on the bike, how he placed where he did was amazingggg

    Re: Daytona SX

I don't know if I would say the was was "Out of it", but he was clearly hurting. IMO, his actions after the fall reflected that he was still thinking clearly. His first attempt to remount was thwarted by the rear fender being pointed up into the air, and even I have done that. He was able to get the bike into neutral and start it again. I felt bad for him. He was *flying* and well beyond the pace of anybody else on that night.
