New rules package works great.. only 4 seconds between 1st and 10th in superpole.. http://roadracingworld.com/news/article/?article=35907

Nice work.. WSBK has .6 between 1st and 10th at Philip Island.. To get 4 seconds you need to go back to 27th... LAST... Great job DMG YOU SUCK.. this ain't NASCAR

Pretty sad. I've been a long time fan of AMA superbike, and love the history and the racers. I've just about lost all interest in the series though...thank God for WSBK.

    AMA Pro Issues Penalties

AMA Pro Road Racing rider Jamie Hacking has been suspended indefinitely following this weekend's event at Auto Club Speedway for conduct detrimental to the sport of professional motorcycle racing. The culminating incident occurred in the Auto Club Speedway media center following post-race interviews on Sunday where Hacking used a string of profane language while exiting the press interview area. Prior to this incident, Hacking displayed additional acts of inappropriate behavior in both public and media interviews.

"No premier sporting organization would tolerate, whether it be motorsports or major league stick and ball sports, the level of disrespectful, profane and vulgar language in a public forum as demonstrated by Jamie Hacking this weekend at Auto Club Speedway," said AMA Pro Road Racing Managing Event Director Colin Fraser. "His behavior was totally disrespectful to the media, his competitors and the sport of motorcycle racing in general."

Hacking will be considered for reinstatement pending payment of a $4,000 fine and delivery of a public apology to AMA Pro Road Racing officials. Subsequent to payment of the fine and receipt of an apology acceptable to AMA Pro Road Racing, Hacking will also be suspended for one full event weekend.

All fines paid to AMA Pro Road Racing will be donated to Camp Boggy Creek, a Paul Newman Hole in the Wall Camp located in Eustis, Florida, and the Roadracing World Action Fund.

Additionally, AMA Pro Road Racing also placed riders Michael Beck, Kevin Boisvert, Mat Mladin, Mark Simon and Dustin O'Hara on probation due to failure to participate in Sunday's mandatory autograph session.

AMA Pro Racing is the premier professional motorcycle racing organization in North America, operating a full schedule of events and championships for a variety of motorcycle disciplines. From its Daytona Beach headquarters, the organization operates and manages AMA Pro Road Racing, which includes AMA Pro American Superbike, AMA Pro Daytona SportBike, AMA Pro SuperSport and AMA Pro SunTrust Moto-GT. AMA Pro Racing also manages and works closely with the day-to-day operational organizations of the AMA Pro Flat Track Championship and the AMA Pro Supermoto Championship Series in addition to other two-wheel and ATV series. Re: DMG could #$%^ up a wet dream

Did anyone watch the clip on RRW of Hacking at the first interview. He was a total dick and should be suspended. He made the sport look bad IMO. He was cleaning his leathers while they interviewed eslick, bumping his mic, and generally dissing the whole affair. If I were getting paid to race, I'd be thankful despite the new rules bungles. Don't shit where you sleep (or something like that)

I didn't see the second interview where he went off...

This is already quite the interesting season, mostly for all the wrong reasons.

I dont think that was that bad, look at any race, the people not talking are generally either talking with friends or family, or other racers and stuff (at least at Loudon). I dont see it as disrespect, but I can see how some people might.

And apparently the suspension wasnt for the interview that you can watch, John Ulrich said it became more colorful at the media room, but theres no video of it, and even he wasnt privy to it. Theres a lot of good "insider" info at the wera board, if anyones interested.

Hmm... I may be in the minority here but... did I watch any of the AMA races this year except bits of the 200?? Nope. Do I care to? Nope. Have I watched every single WSBK race thusfar? Yep. Will I do the same with MotoGp? Yep.

The AMA is officially a shit-show and I couldn't care less if it just... went away. (edit: It's really a shame for the good people involved, e.g. a13x, working their butts off to race in a series run by baffoons... )

I am *psyched* to catch the ASRA stuff at the classic this year though, that'll be some good racing!

Dude, He was on camera with a mic in his hand. Eslick had to stop and look at him cause he was making so much noise. At one point he adjusted his package. He laughed at Eslick. It wa out of line and I've never seen anything like it.

IMO Mladin set the stage for this by being disrespectful in the first few interviews. He should face the same "punishment"

You haven't watched any AMA stuff, because 95% of it hasn't been on the tube. It's crazy, the superbike (if you can call it that) race from Daytona was on at 11pm Saturday night

Yeah, but I've DVR'd quite a bit of it (or thought to DVR it) and just have zero interest in it. Even the decent races pretty much pail in comparison to WSBK. I'd rather watch old DVD's of good racing, than new crap meaningless racing.... which is what we have now.

FWIW Mladin was completely horrible in Friday's Superpole Press Conference. It was uncomfortable to be a part of. Satuday and Sunday his whole attitude had changed. Methinks one of his bosses pulled him aside cuz the whole paddock was buzzing about it Friday night.
