I'm gonna lament the loss of the 250 class all season. To me, the 250 represents the purest form of roadracing. THere's just something about watching the passes they make that is breath taking. You can see that there's no engine braking and that they are testing the limits of corner entry speed and you're not sure if anyone's gonna make it out the other side. Great stuff!
The deisels will never have that same tension. They are different animals. Heavier with more torque. Riders cam make more mistakes and not pay for it the rest of the lap. Oh well. I guess I'm getting old and resistant to change.

I have enjoyed the 250 racing this year. Making me want to think about picking up a 250.

my favorite moment from the 250 race: watching Aoyama's line on the last turn of the race as he cut back inside for the lead, looks like he lost traction and corrected 3 different times, his line was one long squiggle.
I'm watching the MotoGP race now; on lap 17 they have a POV shot at Stoners front wheel, on a hard right turn the edge of his tire flexes half way to the rim
