Dover to NHMS back way?

Someone told me a while back about a route they take from Dover to NHMS that's most or all backroads, maybe includes a dirt road, and has some serious hills (was advised against this route towing a very heavy trailer in a ranger). I can't find the thread now. Anyone know said route & care to share?

Thanks dick. I've googlemapped a few different ways. I'm looking for a specific, fun, mostly backroad way that a few regulars from my area (ox?) take. If I just wanted typical boring fucking directions I'd gmap it, or GPS it on my phone. :

I'm not ruling it out. A dirt road along the way and all backroads would be key. Probably taking a vintage motorcycle... highway has 0 appeal to me. I've been gmapping my own route, but would like to know where the dirt road shortcut is.

I actually found the thread. No mention of a dirt road though, which leads me to believe there was another thread, or I'm crazy. Possibly both.
